The main part of the vision is for the team manager to gather their own community of young people. There is no strict plan of how you do this, each group of young people can be completely different and we want to release people to disciple young people through sport in their own way. We would like to resource and support the managers in their responsibility of discipleship.

The league will take place on one night, at the same time and same place. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to bring young people along to play in an organised football league. You won’t have to organise matches, book pitches or sort out referees. Just commit to the league and bring your team down each week.

The game itself will be played to the same positive play guidelines outlined earlier.

The league is a Futsal league that is affiliated to Sheffield & Hallamshire FA. Futsal is 5-a-side small sided football that originates from South America and encourages players to improve passing and skills making it more enjoyable to play in. The league is based at Goodwin sports centre on Northumberland Road on a Friday night between 6pm and 7.30pm.

We want the league to be free for players so money is not a barrier to young people playing football.
