We'd like to introduce you to some of our amazing team leaders

 

Sam Evans

Sam is the leader of Forge Youth.  He arrived on team as a fresh face cheeky lad from the south at 18 and ended up doing his youth degree placement here.  After going away to Africa he returned to work for a secular charity and in 2015 he started as leader of Forge Youth. 

 

 


Chris Nall

Chris oversees Forge Sports. He is married to Rowann and they have 2 children called Elliot and Zoe.  He arrived in Sheffield in 2003 for University and has been working with young people in different ways ever since.  Chris loves sport and is passionate about it being played in a fair way and using it to work with young people.


Steve HipwellSteve Hipwell

Steve is responsible for KC Youth; all the youth work that comes out of the Kings Centre base. He also leads the Pitsmoor youth work.  He joined the Forge team in 2013, after spending 4 years volunteering with the children’s work.  Steve’s hope is that the young people he works with really engage with what Jesus offers to them.


James homer

James oversees our work in Shiregreen and Firth Park. James is from Sheffield and has come through our youth work and is doing his youth work degree placement with us and lives in the North of Sheffield where he works.  


Jamie Ring

Jamie is currently working with Forge Youth as part of my university placement. She leads the project in Arbourthorne and is involved in schools work in Shiregreen.  She loves seeing God move in the lives of young people in these areas. Jamie is also an amazing worship leader.


Liv Gunn

Liv came to Sheffield in 2016 to do Form and did her internship with us. Liv has come on to our staff team for 2017 and is leading the Firth Park lunch club and Revo alongside working at the youth club in Pitsmoor.


Jessie Smith

Jessie heads up our childrens and families work in Pitsmoor in partnership with the Centenary Project and Northern Lights Partnership.  She studied at the University of Southampton and lives in the local community that she is working in.  She is passionate about seeing Jesus transform the lives of young people and speaks Roma in her spare time.


Luke Lonergan

Luke is leading our SCYL football league at Goodwin Sports Centre.  He in the second year of his degree at the University of Sheffield.  He loves football and wants to use it to make a difference in peoples lives.  Luke also runs Sheffield Union Football Club which is a club through the University of Sheffield.
